A visit to my office is a healing experience. Hopefully, our interaction will lead my patients to enhance their lifestyle with healthy choices.
I like spending a lot of time with people in my office. Besides patiently listening to someone’s concerns, I enjoy teaching about being healthy and the nature of illness. I want people to know how to pursue total well-being and how to prevent medical problems.
The goal is to live a healthy life.

Common Health Problems
Periodically, we all experience minor illnesses. Colds, stomach flu (diarrhea and/or vomiting), achy muscles or joints, heartburn, dry skin that cracks and hurts, headache, sores in the mouth, tingling in the fingers, and foot pain are some of the many ailments that may bother us at one time or another. Although these can be symptoms that require medical evaluation if persistent or progressive, they usually signify temporary problems that are of little significance.
But any of these symptoms can be a nuisance. They always occur with inconvenient timing. And they typically resolve spontaneously.
There are many ways to make these problems go away quicker. Over-the-counter acid lowering medicines cure minor heartburn readily. Frequent use of saline nose spray is part of a program to cure the common cold (yes, it is possible!) faster. Sometimes pressure points on the temples help headaches to resolve.
People should know how to cure themselves and their families of common health problems. There is so much that can be done. Some of the strategies that I teach for coping with minor illnesses can be found in popular books of self-help medical care. Many approaches I have developed on my own. Whenever someone comes into my clinic, I naturally diagnose the problem and outline and explain the treatment. Beyond this, I enjoy teaching strategies for handling this type of sickness in the future. When you leave my office, you will not only be on the road to a quicker recovery, you will also know how to treat yourself the next time.
One of my goals is for you not to need me.
And the teaching continues. I will try to give you advice about preventing the problem in the future. For example, using saline nose spray daily is one way to prevent frequent colds.
I want to educate you about the things I know. We both want you to be healthy. It may take a little extra effort to prevent common health problems. But the time and energy required are minimal. It’s worth your involvement to be well. I can show you the way.
